KFD2-EB2 module is a high-performance, reliable and easy-to-use isolated gate driver module, which is suitable for Pepperl+Fuchs PLC, DCS systems and various industrial automation fields. Its main function is to convert the digital signal from the upper computer into an isolated binary signal to drive various switching devices and provide protection and control functions for industrial sites. Realize the electrical isolation of field devices, extend the communication distance, and protect the communication security with field devices.

- The available power supply voltage range is 20-30 V DC, which can easily adapt to the field application requirements under different power supply conditions.
- It supports a communication rate up to 12 Mbps, which significantly improves data transmission efficiency and meets the needs of real-time monitoring of industrial equipment.
- The standard RS-485 interface is adopted, which is compatible with various bus protocols such as MODBUS RTU, PROFIBUS DP, etc., and meets various on-site communication needs; at the same time, the module can also set parameters such as address and communication rate through the field bus interface, which is more convenient flexibility.
- Equipped with 8 digital inputs, 8 digital outputs, and 1 HART transmission function channel, which can realize the transmission and conversion of field device signals.

- The shell is made of UL94V-0 flame retardant material, which has excellent fire and flame retardant performance.

install and use
- This module needs to be installed in a cabinet that can provide sufficient protection to avoid flying dust, water droplets, etc. from affecting its normal work. Please ensure that the ambient temperature on site is within the range of -20 °C to +60 °C, and the working power supply is 20-30 VDC.
- The module is installed on a 35 mm Din rail. The user only needs to place it on the rail, and then press the module into the rail with an appropriate force until the module is completely locked.
- Connect the positive and negative power input terminals on the module to a 20-30 VDC power supply to ensure that the power supply voltage is sufficiently stable.
- Through the field bus interface, according to the communication protocol and address requirements of the field equipment, set the communication parameters of the module, such as equipment address, communication baud rate, etc.
KFD2-EB2 module is widely used in various industrial automation fields such as petrochemical, electric power, steel, cement, etc., and is mainly used to realize the communication connection between field equipment and host computer. For example, in a chemical production site, data from sensors such as temperature and pressure can be sent to the host computer through the module to realize real-time monitoring and adjustment of the production process; at the same time, the host computer can issue instructions to control the production process according to actual needs. On-site valves, pumps and other equipment to complete production scheduling tasks.
