Micro Motion CMF050

Micro Motion CMF050 flow meter uses the Coriolis principle for fluid flow measurement. The Coriolis principle arises from the inertial force experienced by an object in a rotating frame of reference. When the fluid passes through its measuring pipe, the fluid will be subjected to a force to cause it to vibrate, and the sensor will measure the vibration caused by the fluid, and calculate the flow rate of the liquid and gas according to the characteristics of this vibration, and it is not affected by the nature of the medium, and can provide high-precision and accurate flow data.

• When the fluid enters the measuring pipe of the flow meter, the pipe itself vibrates due to the change in the flow and acceleration of the fluid.
• This flowmeter is equipped with a high-precision vibration sensor to detect the frequency, amplitude and phase characteristics of pipeline vibration.
• When a fluid vibrates in a rotating frame of reference, an effect called the Coriolis force occurs due to the action of an inertial force. This force shifts the phase of the fluid vibration, and the vibration frequency is related to the vibration frequency of the pipe itself.
• By measuring parameters such as frequency, amplitude, and phase of fluid vibration in the pipeline, it is able to accurately determine the mass flow rate of the fluid through the pipeline.
